The Best Dad in the World

In honor of this Father’s Day weekend,  I (with Mommy’s help) hijacked Daddy’s blog to do a very special post.  RhinoRun is my dad, and he is the best. I love him so much, and when I grow up I want to be just like him.  I think I’ve got a good start- I like the cold side of the pillow like he does, I don’t like vegetables like he does, I have that funny little extra ear flap like he does and I love music like he does.

Spending time with my Daddy makes me smile. While he’s at work I miss him, and so to help the time pass while he’s away I get a lil’ creative.  Sometimes I pretend I am him. I love leading my band and having rock concerts. ( you know, you’ve seen my work here)  I’ll also tell Mommy, “Let’s play life, and I’ll be Daddy and you be the Big Sister.” I  pretend too that  I have an office and go to work. Just the other day I went “to work”, but didn’t stay long cause, “it was  just Saturday and all I had to do was turn off my computer.”  All good role play needs some costumes, and I’ve had laughs wearing Dad’s shoes, but this was a first.  Dad had left his gym bag in the den from the basketball game and I just had to put it on…Dad’s shirt. I was so proud to show Mom, and she got the camera:

Happy Father’s Day, Daddy. I love you!
