Paid In Full

Two weeks ago we launched a new campaign at Life Church. I hate it that it’s two weeks later and I’m just now getting this post up here. I am so excited about the possibilities of this campaign and about how such a simple thing can really make an impact on a community.

We had 2500 Paid In Full cards printed up and have given them out to the people of Life Church. The Paid In Full concept is simple. Basically you just pay for something for somebody else. When you go through the drive-thru and order a biscuit at chick-fil-a, pay for the car behind you and leave the card for them saying their meal has been paid in full. When you’re picking up your dry cleaning, ask the cashier if you can pay for another customer that’s coming in that day then leave the card for them saying it’s been paid in full.

Paid in Full. The price for our sins has been paid in full by the blood of Christ.  It’s a simple act of us trying to show the love of Christ to others in our community. It’s not “a cool way to invite someone to church”, it’s not something just to make you feel better. It truly is a way to try and show the love of God to a hurting people!

Go on over to the Paid In Full site (http://www.paidnfull.org) and check out some of the stories. If you’ve got some cards, use them. If you want some cards, let me know and I’ll get you some.

What are your thoughts on this?
